This is a clearing karma system called Karma Removal. There is also a lot of misunderstanding about what karma really is. Often the word is employed to make it mean both action and the results of action.

But technically the word karma means action, and a separate expression, vipaka is used to indicate the results of action or reaction. Vipaka is about what we sow and what we reap, somewhere and sometime, in this life or another. As Karma may be good or bad, so may Vipaka, the result – could be good or bad.

However, the purpose of the Law of Karma is not to punish but rather teach lessons to help people grow and rise to higher levels of love, joy and light. Yet if the actions are not linked with the results, the healing may be incomplete. When vipaka is completed, a sense of freedom prevails and relief happens. The blockage clears and insight becomes accessible. The person detaches from the intensity carried over from one past life to present.

Learning to deal with karma and vipaka is not easy for it involves deep thinking about its origin, purpose and solution. When the answers to these issues are found, the ability to neutralise its control over one’s life is gained. Karma-vipaka removal and healing is about choice, no matter how difficult the lessons may be.
